Nakhra Studio offers salon services in Amritsar across skin, hair, nails, body, waxing and makeup — all under one roof at 648 Basant Avenue, and all delivered in a women-only studio by female cosmetologists.
Every service on this page begins the same way: with a consultation. We do not have a menu you pick blindly from. We look at your skin or hair, ask what you actually want and when you need it, and then recommend. If the cheaper option is the right one, we will tell you so.
Our facials are matched to your skin after a consultation rather than chosen off a list — K-Beauty Purify & Replenish, Skin Quencher with O3+, Radiant Glow with Kanpeki, Vital Nutrient Face Lifting and Calm & Clear for sensitive skin. Hydra-style facials sit within our premium Kanpeki range. Every facial includes a substantial massage phase and, in our luxury rituals, that extends to hands, arms, back, scalp and feet.
You leave with a written at-home routine for your skin. That is included, not an upsell, and it does more for your skin than the facial itself.
Our hair treatments are protocols, not a wash and a mask. The Scalp Detox & Glow Ritual is a two-hour treatment for hair fall and dandruff — a 30-minute scalp massage, a problem-specific professional ampoule, a High Frequency machine to drive it in, and the ampoule left in overnight. Cold Spa Therapy is for heat-damaged, dry and frizzy hair — a mix of serums, vitamin E and proteins emulsified with ice cubes, then an LED therapy comb. Both are chemical-free and sold as a course.
Every implement is sterilised after every single use, and anything that cannot be sterilised is single-use.
Our body spa runs in a private room only: skin consultation, full body cleansing, scrub with steaming, a pack chosen for your skin, then Swedish-technique massage. We also offer body polishing, which is a different treatment aimed at brightening and evening skin tone — usually the one you want before an event.
All waxing is done by female therapists in a private room. We use Rica and premium ranges for sensitive skin and delicate areas, chocolate wax for larger areas, and we cover everything including our bikini and Brazilian range, chosen specifically to be far more comfortable than most people expect. We do not offer laser.
Bridal makeup starts from ₹8,000 and includes a full consultation and a trial booked once your jewellery and outfit are finalised. Party and event makeup also starts from ₹8,000, with hair styling and draping available.
Our pre-bridal packages start from ₹18,000 and are built around your actual function dates — a planned sequence of skin, hair, waxing, body and nail work, plus a personalised at-home routine for hair and skin.
We are cosmetologists and estheticians, not dermatologists. We do not diagnose or treat medical skin conditions, and if that is what you need we will tell you honestly and point you to a doctor. We do not offer laser hair removal. And we do not offer therapeutic or medical massage — only beauty and skincare treatments.

Mehak trained for seven years at one of the leading salons in Vancouver before opening Nakhra Studio, and the Swedish techniques used across our facial, body and hair work came back with her. Our team each hold a cosmetology degree with five to seven-plus years of experience, and every one is trained in-house by Mehak before working on a client.

Yes, completely. All our clients and all our staff are women, and we do not take male clients for any service.
For facials, hair treatments, body spa and nails we strongly recommend it, because these are timed treatments and we hold the room. For bridal makeup, book months ahead — wedding season dates in Amritsar go early.
Tell us the outcome you want rather than a service name, and we will tell you what gets you there. Every treatment starts with a consultation, and we will not sell you the more expensive option if the simpler one is correct.

No. We offer waxing only, using premium ranges chosen to be as comfortable as possible.
Every tool is sterilised after every single use. Anything that cannot be reliably sterilised — files, buffers, spatulas — is single-use and disposed of. Linens are fresh for every client. Please do ask us about it in the studio.
