We do a bridal trial, and there is a right time for it: after your jewellery and your outfit are finalised. Not before.
The reason is simple. A look that is beautiful in isolation can fight with your jewellery or sit wrong against the colour of your lehenga, and until those two things are decided a trial is guesswork. Bring the jewellery, or clear photographs of it, and the outfit or its fabric, to the trial. We will do the full look and adjust it with you until it is right, and then it is settled and you stop worrying about it.

Makeup is the last day. Your skin and hair are the three months before it, and that is where the visible difference is actually made. Our pre-bridal packages start from ₹18,000 and are customised entirely around your function dates — a planned course of facials, hair treatment, waxing, body work and nails, sequenced so each one lands at the right distance from the right event.
Every Nakhra bride also gets a personalised at-home routine for her skin and her hair, written for her, to follow in the weeks running up. That routine does more for how you look on the day than anything we can apply in the morning.
One thing we tell every bride: book your hair spa for after all your functions are over. Weeks of heat and styling need our Cold Spa Therapy to recover from, and that is a post-wedding treatment, not a pre-wedding one.
We will have agreed your start time at the trial, working backwards from when you need to be ready with a buffer, because mornings run late and we plan for that rather than hoping. The look will be the one you already signed off — no surprises on the day is the entire point of the trial.
Mehak trained for seven years at one of the leading salons in Vancouver before opening Nakhra Studio in Amritsar. Our artists each hold a cosmetology degree with five to seven-plus years of experience and are trained in-house by her. We use professional ranges, and every brush and tool is sterilised after every single use — which matters more on a face full of makeup than most people realise.
