Nakhra Studio is a women-only body spa in Amritsar. Every therapist is female, every client is female, and every body treatment happens in a private treatment room with the door closed. We say that first because it is the single most common question we are asked, and because it is the reason most of our clients booked with us in the first place.
What we offer is skincare for the body — cleansing, exfoliation, treatment and Swedish massage technique, chosen after a skin consultation. It is professional beauty therapy delivered by qualified cosmetologists, and we are quite particular about that.

These get used interchangeably across the city and they should not be. We offer both, and which one you want depends on what you are after.

If you are unsure, tell us the outcome you want rather than the name of a service, and we will tell you which one gets you there. If a body polish is the right answer and it is cheaper, we will say so.
Amritsar is hard on skin from the neck down as much as above it. Sun through a car window, dust, hard water, and the arms and back that get covered up and then ignored for months. Most of our body spa clients come in for one of three reasons: tan and unevenness they want dealt with before a function, skin that has gone dry and rough and stopped responding to body lotion, or simply because they are exhausted and want two hours in a quiet room.
All three are good reasons. We do not treat the third as less serious than the first.
If you have an event, tell us the date. Body polishing lands best a few days before rather than the morning of, and if you are wearing something sleeveless or backless we will plan the waxing and the polishing in the right order and the right sequence so nothing is done too close to the day.
For brides this planning is part of the consultation. Our pre-bridal packages start from ₹18,000 and are built around your actual functions and their dates — we ask what you have and when, then work backwards. Nothing is off the shelf.
Every tool is sterilised after every single use, and linens are fresh for every client. Treatments take place in a private room and you are never left exposed — draping is standard practice and our therapists are trained on it.
Our therapists each hold a cosmetology degree and have between five and seven-plus years of experience, and every one is trained in-house by Mehak before working on a client. Mehak spent seven years at one of the top salons in Vancouver, and the Swedish technique used in our body work came back with her.
To be completely clear about scope: we are cosmetologists and estheticians offering beauty and skincare treatments. We do not offer therapeutic, medical or physiotherapy massage, and we do not treat injuries or pain conditions — if that is what you need, please see a qualified physiotherapist or doctor.
